my intention with this project was simplicity and minimalism. i only used my daughter's casio sa-50 keyboard and 8 tracks in ableton. i wanted to tap into the same creativity we all have as kids; when creating is more about play and not necessarily the result. I wanted to tap in to freedom, fun, and spirit.

this is my first offering as HENRY, under my imprint O1S Records. it’s also a rebirth; as I leave the safe zone of what I’m used to in music and lean more into different genres, sounds, instruments, languages, chants … whatever i receive.

creating this project was like play time for the kid in me, and the feeling at the completion of it was a reminder, a reassurance, and an affirmation; all is well.
